Hello Island Breeze (and thanks Jarad for advising me of this post)

We will be open tomorrow (by chance). We are still opening just weekends.

We are going to be open 7 days a week starting JUNE 13 and our first free workshops that we will be running will be JUNE 27

Two of our staff are visiting and shopping in Japan the next couple of weeks but those of you that know Hugh Grant from this site will be able to meet him at the nursery each Saturday starting this weekend.

Thanks for the inquiry

No worries Ashley.

The East Coast is calling your name Elmar.

Went here yesterday. Had a big problem choosing because there is so much stock!

Highly recommend!

It would be excellent if someone could take some pics to show an idea of the range/size of the nursery. I could certainly be tempted if I saw some 'bonsai porn'.

Maybe Hugh or Ashley could oblige on this one. I can try to, if I can remember the next time I'm up there. I was there wandering around only yesterday, as my wife needed a day to rest without the kids... :palm: .

Its so good that we finally have something local and tempting. We need all bonsai growers on the coast and surrounding area to support them. The quality of their stock is awesome. :tu:

I mean to take photos every time I go up there but I get too distracted talking and looking at everything.

I find it hard to stay away for more than 2 weeks... I was there Saturday to drop off some figs and a Mel and left with 3 mini junis, a pot and a kilo of wire... :lost:

I 100% agree with this. I am no longer allowed unsupervised visits as my bonsai shelf is a little full...

Jarad....

SHE decides what colour paint to use
SHE decides when you have kids
SHE decides what the kids wear
SHE decides what clothes you look good in
SHE decides on the interior look of the apartment/house

HE decides on everything outside of the house/apartment

This is also the secret of a happy marriage.

Ashley here........Been in Japan last couple of weeks (one week left).......... so have not logged into Ausbonsai till now. For those interested in some photos we have thrown up a facebook page ( a few photos of nursery, pots, etc plus a few appetisers from Japan etc...). This facebook page will be our internet presence until our website is up and running. Hope this helps make up anyones decision on `if we are worth the trip`.

If you facebook Bonsai World Jilliby you should easily find us.

We will not rest in making the nursery better so keep coming back and hopefully we will have a little extra to offer each visit

Thank you Rory, Jarad and Island breeze for the kind words and hope to be back soon to see everyone in person.....

In the meantime i will leave you in the very capable hands of Hugh Grant (long term Ausbonsai member)

I never stop learning with each visit to Japan....so when home I will love to share with the Ausbonsai community some info that i hope is of interest.

Ashley
