Sydney store that posts Trees?

Hey all,
Im in Sydney for work for a while and ive seen some great Juniper stock material while jealously checking out some of the posts here.
Im just wondering if it is possible for interstate postage of decent sized stock material?

Im located in the Rhodes area and would love to find somewhere within an hour to check out on a Sunday....Adelaide can be a little barren for larger sized stock material

Just to confirm what you're after.

You want to know of a bonsai nursery you can attend in Sydney while you're there, so you can hold which tree you want then have it shipped back to Adelaide?

If you've checking it out in person can't you just attend any nursery and ship it yourself? I think no matter what shipping will be quite expensive for larger stock as they go off either weight or cubic size, which ever is going to make Australia Post more money.

If you do decide to post it yourself make sure you post it on a Monday, so the tree doesn't sit in the depot over the weekend sulking. Also cling wrap the pot to make sure the soil stays in just in case it does get knocked.

Thanks Pearcey, yeah mate i am looking for a Sydney nursery who would actually post it for me as with my work hours, i am unable to get to a post office.

Ill pop into a store and ask them myself, cheers again!

Good luck with not breaking the branches. However if you do end up posting yourself, my tip would be to use a milk crate, then pack the box very securely with padding outside the crate. Secure the tree very well with wire / and secure the root mass over and over to the milk crate with the wire so it can't move.

But if you can drive, the best option is to simply ... drive. Do a road trip to an interstate nursery with a trailer. Much safer for the tree and a bit of fun.
