Kimura's Trees Japan 2016

Post by SLR5000 »

Hi everyone,
Thought I would post some photos of Mr Kimura's trees when we visited his nursery last week. Most of these trees are for sale. There are a couple of photos of the garden and the bonsai group.

I hope you enjoy these photos

Excellent photos, thanks for your extensive photo essays. Magic trees. A tiny part of my mind wants to know how much one of those monster shimpakus would cost me, if I had a mind to buy...

Hi Gavin,
I would say you would need $50,000 in the bank to start looking. We saw one in another nursery that had a $1,000,000 (US) dollar price tag on it.

Hi SLR5000 , The "Master" certainly inspires a bloke when he is drained of mind in the bonsai arena . Been let off the hook with the Christmas rush so i might just find some time to trim and style a few older specimens . This is the right magic seeing quality material like this again , Thanks for posting .

Cheers Alpineart
