Hi Bonbon,

Why don't you call/email the nursery, they can probably send you photos too.

Cheers,
Pearcy.

I have emailed them a few time. Got a reply that they will get back to you, but they never do.
You would be better off to call then and ask then to send a pic via you phone. Good luck
Cheers

Ray is a great bonsai bloke, but hopeless with technology.
Clinton is better but i think is re forgetful in following up. :-(

Best way is to call ray directly and speak to him.

I'll have some soon. (about 5 or 6 years) maybe less!

By the way, If anyone sees or has seen or has heard of anyone else seeing or talking about benichidori. Please let me know! My 30 year search continues. All I need is a lousy few bud sticks. I would be forever :worship:
It looks like this....

I too am hunting Mume...
I've just contacted several non-bonsai nurseries who stock flowering tree's and have Mume listed as available.
I'm assuming these will not really be suitable for Bonsai unless they have young stock but may buy one anyway in the hope that I can air layer a decent branch off.
I've read a couple posts and seen on-line that several people have attempted this - but have yet to see any outcomes or positive results.
If it was a Japanese flowering cherry, I would not attempt as by all accounts, they are weak on their own roots. Any advice regarding whether I should bother trying or not would be appreciated.
If I could also find a Bonsai nursery (Vic or NSW) who stock, this would be much preferred - willing to travel far and wide ( is that OCD..?!) - anyway, will keep an eye on this post...
cheers, Rob.
