Re: Bonsai Louie, Guildford
I've bought two plants from him. It is just a corner store (sell chips, chocolates, papers etc) that happens to have a section for Bonsai (a large section in the context of the store). He has a cage out the back with all the plants in it.
He is an old bloke who is very friendly, his English is OK. I think he owns all the shops in the row (about 3-4 small businesses) and does the corner shop/bonsai to keep himself busy.
Good prices, compared to other Bonsai places I visited for similar plants, can't comment on how good they are as I am a complete novice.
Not sure if I can post links, but this is what gave me some background on him before I visited
