Friend and I did the Ideal Nursery Crawl... we grabbed a 7 am flight from Sydney to Melbourne, rented a car, did 5 nurseries thanks to wonderful directions from a mate, got the 7 pm flight back to Sydney with two bags of green friends which we tucked under the cabin seats. The hostie got a bit miffy about the bags as they have to be really tucked under the seat and the pryacantha wasn't impressed being pushed under further. But we arrived, they all survived and there was no problem. Melbourne authorities did query our green stuff but all they wanted was assurance that we were not transporting roses. No roses... go through. But if you are taking your bags on the plane be sure they will fit under the seat in front of you.
