As has been mentioned in a related post, Hector, Peter and I met and went for a walk through Steve Rawkins Nursery last Saturday. If people can't find good stock to work on here, no matter what budget, they just aren't looking.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

[Asus], there are hundreds of Junipers, from 1/2in trunks to 4-5in trunks. Steve has a LOT of stock and supplies nurseries up and down the east coast.

Is this where you were talking about, with 40gal Chinese junipers?

Australian Bonsai Grower is an absolutely fantastic nursery; wide selection and very competitive prices (I sound like an ad, lol). I picked up a beautiful Chinese Elm and some accessories the other week, and was shocked to learn how much the same items were retailing for at other places...

The owners are absolutely lovely too; very kind and knowledgable.

I'm tempted to head back over this weekend to get a couple of pots they had there actually, though I should probably do some study :-p
