Mr Hanh's Nursery
Hi All,
I dropped by Mr Hanh's Bonsai Nursery today, I asked if I could take some pictures to post.... although the heavy rain made it a little bit difficult and the batteries on my cheap camera died but I managed to get some shots.
He has some very nice mature stock, some really big forest which look awesome, and some really nice starters, I find his prices are very reasonable and I always have to get something when I'm there...I think I'm a bonsaholic
Anyways just thought I'd share. PM for contact details.

I must say I have never in Melbourne seen so many JBP advanced starter in one place, some of those trunks are 2-5+ inch base. I wanted to take a picture of a Huge JBP forest, all the trees had 3-4 inch trunks , they looked awesome.Brad Loma wrote:Nice stuf Eliast, thanks for posting them, the big pines look like they have nice bases.

Is Mr Hanh's nursery not a retail venture? I'd certainly be interested in having a look.
Thanks.

The nursery is located in Melbourne, western suburbs. I think the fig is just to big, a small crane would be needed to move or lift, the current pot is a large square item measuring a full meter.
And Fly, I sent you a PM.
Cheers,
Elias

Re: Mr Hanh's Nursery
Hi Jow,
Sorry but it is not --- know Mr. Ba Loc as well, though I visit him less often.
He has the most extensive collection of white pines the last time I visisted
him.
Mr. Hanh Nguyen does not seem to have a web-site for his business.
Best regards.

Nah its a residential property, but he does retail from there, usually by appointment. He used to have a website once upon a time, called bonsaibuddy.com.au but it is no longer operating.

Re: Mr Hanh's Nursery
Thanks Elias for going to the trouble of taking some great photos but posting them on the forum as well. I think I am getting to the point where I would like to plan a long weekend down to Melbourne just to see all the great bonsai nurseries. Your post might have been the trigger. Do you by chance have the phone number and / or address of Mr Hanh's Nursery?
Many Thanks

Re: Mr Hanh's Nursery
Hi Jester,
Looks like Eliast has missed this.
Mr. Hanh's details:
[EDIT] Address removed, as I'm led to believe that this is a private residence. [/EDIT]
Tel: 03 9312 6439
And I believe this is Eliast's one:
Zen Flowers & Garden
49-51 Inkerman Street
St Kilda VIC 3182
Tel: 03 9537 1800
I do not know how current the details are. So please check for yourselves.
(And I do not have any commercial interests in any of the two above.)
