Re: Newcastle Bonsai Show is Back
Hi Allan looking forward to dropping in. Hopefully each day. It's $5 per day entry isn't it.
Also have a question on membership I think its about time I Joined with the kids. If we pay membership now does it last 12months or is it a January to January type deal?

Re: Newcastle Bonsai Show is Back
I took the older of my two boys today and will maybe take my other 2 kids tomorrow. Here are most of the display trees my son took all of these he had a great time and has encouraged him with the art also paid for a family membership so the club may see more of the two of us. Also got to Catch up with TimIam and gave him a few of my ficus Natalensis cuttings. Kirky i hope the one i sent you is recovering in you cold Melbourne climate.
some of the files even when reduced are 2 large but can see some of them better on my Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/backyardbonsaiaustralia) or here in google folder https://photos.app.goo.gl/6Q5i8igXYsxTkaWU9

Re: Newcastle Bonsai Show is Back
Well we had great success at our change of venue with over 550 viewing public through the door over 2 1/2 days.
Posting here just a few pics of our demonstrators and the winning trees from our visitor's choice vote. More to see on our fb page.
The standard of trees and demonstrations has certainly set the bar high for next year so mark your calendars for the second weekend in November so you don't miss out.

Re: Newcastle Bonsai Show is Back
Thanks Alan for putting on such a great show. I also got to catch your demo. Everything about the day was top quality.
My pick for top place was the 3rd place swampy. You could see just by standing in front of the tree how much effort had gone into making it look quality. I was also impressed with the English Ivy, which was my second pick.
If you missed out this year, it's definitely worth coming along next year.
Thanks Alan for posting on here. Hopefully you can drop back next year with a reminder close to show time.
