Enthusiasts from NSW and the ACT put trees in this annual show and it is well attended. Do allow time to walk through the botanic gardens as well. It is a lovely stop on a day in Canberra.

Sorry I won't be able to make this show in short notice. I hope someone can post pictures here after the event.

As most Clubs seem to run their shows at the same time each year, perhaps we should create a sticky Calendar with all of the dates so that people can perhaps plan a trip around an event. And while we are at it a list of all of the Bonsai clubs and their meeting times and contact details might be a great help to budding enthusiests.

Gday Mela!

I flew up to Canberra last year for the show and spent an entire day either ogling some great trees, attending demos or just wandering around the Gardens. It was a great day. Sadly, I won't be able to attend this year.

I hope someone can post pictures here after the event.

Ditto Jon. I'm still eagerly waiting for the official photos from last year's exhibit to be posted online. [EDIT] Oops - looks like they've been posted since I last visited the site. I recall being particulary fond of Grant Bowie's She Oak, and Peter H's E.nicholli is always an inspiration. [/EDIT]
