I will be there. Who else is coming?
I can safely say that the raffle is not rigged, as I won a beautiful Pat Kennedy pot last year!

Re: Bonsai Study Group Annual Show
Steven, one of our members took many photos but will be away for a couple of weeks. When he returns I will selectivly post some. Pat Kennedy stayed with us for a couple of nights and left for Adelong this morning with a much lighter van. He is firing some more pots this afternoon and then leaving for Brisbane next Wednesday.
All in all a good show, a little down in numbers but we made up for lack of takings with a quality raffle. Everybody was satisfied with the result,
John T

Re: Bonsai Study Group Annual Show
Hi Steven. It was a rush job. My sister rang me and asked if I wanted to go, she'd pick me up at the station, take me there and drop me back. Two hours down on the train, say hello to Pat, 1/2 whip around, pick up an order from Ray and Clinton and back to the station and two hours back. No time for any interviews.

Re: Bonsai Study Group Annual Show
I only managed to get there a 20 minutes before close as my son was playing footy. There were some wonderful trees. There was a Grevillea robusta (silky oak) that the owner had managed to reduce the leaves to about 5-7cm that looked awesome. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos to post. As usual at these events it's hard to decide what is better value, the trees or talking to the growers as both are inspiring .
