With the BCI and AABC combined 2014 exhibition being held on the Gold Coast in August 21st – 24th, the organizing committee are now calling for submissions of trees for the display. We are looking for the best bonsai, not the best photographs, so as long as your photographs are clear and you are happy with them, that will be fine. We require four pictures of each tree along with the height and width of the tree. Please don’t forget to add your name and contact details.
When ready you can email the details to Mr Lindsay Bebb (bonsai@bigpond.net.au), they will then be submitted to the committee for final selection.
The Selection Panel does retain the right to refuse any chosen tree that turns up on the day and is not in as good or better condition than the original photograph. Trees that have not been submitted as stated above and approved by the committee may not be displayed, this helps very much with the organizing committee to arrange the display areas to accommodate the selected number of bonsai. Trees from any state are welcome and encouraged. This is an international event and one that the bonsai community should get behind and support to make it the best we possibly can.
If you require any further information in relation to this, please feel free to contact me via the PM system here.

Re: BCI 2014 Display trees.
Howdy,
Keep up the good work Pete, it is appreciated.
This is your chance to show off your tree/s to the world.
There will also be a need for accent plants, scrolls and big interesting stock trees for demonstrations.
Your first contact should be with Lindsay, but I will help any way I can.
While every tree should have a stand, it will be nice to have a few spare.
Early bird regos end this month.
See you on the Gold Coast.
Happy bonsai,
Bruce.

Re: BCI 2014 Display trees.
With the BCI/AABC Exhibition rapidly approaching on the Gold Coast, a gentle reminder to post your trees for display to Mr Bebb. It's our chance to shine through the eyes of our overseas visitors and local friends in bonsai. Let's get behind it and be proud of our passion.
Re: BCI 2014 Display trees.
Only 4 months to go now! If you haven't done so already, get your trees in. Send the pictures to Mr Bebb (bonsai@bigpond.net.au) for the selection committee.
