MELBOURNE: Zhi Ping Song
Just letting you all know that Chinese bonsai master Zhi Ping Song will be holding a public demonstration in conjunction with Bonsai Society Victoria. It should be a very interesting event as we are mainly exposed to Japanese and European teachers and this is a great opportunity to see bonsai from a Chinese perspective.
The demo is open to the public and all are welcome. Be aware that there is limited space in the hall so it is a first in best dressed scenario.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
Sunday 23rd August
@ The Kew Masonic Centre
31-33 Strathalbyn Street,
East Kew

Re: MELBOURNE: Zhi Ping Song
Mr Song did a demo for Yarra valley bonsai society tonight. I unfortunately missed the BSV demo and was very disappointed. Luckily enough I got a second chance to see him and I am astonished at what he can acheive. I will post a link to the image of the demo when they are up.

I second that! It was impressive stuff. A level to aim for.
I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.
