Hobbit House

Post by SLR5000 »

The Hastings Bonsai Group had their 2nd annual bonsai exhibition last weekend. It was a huge success and I will post photos over the next few days.
This is my Hobbit House that I made.
The main tree is a Japanese Buxus and the little one at the back is a Kingsville buxus.
This exhibit was runner up in the peoples choice award.

Great effort - very well done!
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Love your work!

Did you make it from scratch, or were some parts pre-fab?

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

Thats really well done, great job. How big was the pot? I made one last year but as the pot was also made as a rock its quite heavy to move around. Looks lovely tho

Funny too, as I'm reading the books again at the moment :reading:
