I know this is an old thread but will there be a general exhibition in the convention - without workshops or demonstrations?

The event also features Victorian presenters, several demonstrations, a nursery tour, an exhibition, a critique and much much more...

Hi Ben
Yes the exhibition and sales area will be open to the public over the weekend. More information on that will be sent out closer to the date.

Thanks Sue, also by being convention registrations have early access to the Exhibition and Vendor sales area before the general public. :)

Hi all
With just over 4 months to go until the AABC 2018 National Convention, we hope you are all super excited to see
what we have planned for you as part of "Bonsai Exposed".

Bjorn Bjorholm is proving to be as popular as ever and his worldwide fan base is growing exponentially.
We have a full agenda planned for him and you will be witnessing him at his premium best, whether on stage or in workshops.

Of the 64 workshop spots available at the convention, only 1 spots remains!!! That's how popular he is.
If you can't take part in the workshop as a participant, then observing Bjorn working on other people's trees, up close and personal, is the next best thing.

As part of the Vendor sales area we have already 12 confirmed vendors with a great range of bonsai related items to choose from.

Also we have nearly filled two coach sized buses for the nursery tour. Get in ASAP before they are full.

The main reason for holding the Convention in July is to showcase an exhibition of bonsai at their winter best.
We understand it can get a bit cold in Melbourne in Winter but it will be warm indoors watching and participating.
All trees will be hand picked from the best across Victoria and we hope you will all be impressed.

Hope to see you all in Melbourne in July.

David

Hi All
Just a reminder and update.

Time is flying by with less than 3 months to go until the AABC 2018 Convention in Melbourne. Bookings close on 1 July 2018, even though Early Bird registration is over, at $280 for a full registration, it is only $10 more expensive than the last time Melbourne hosted the convention back in 2012!!!

All workshop spots (64) have now been booked and a waiting list started in case of any cancellations. If you can't take part in the workshop as a participant, then observing Bjorn working on other people's trees, up close and personal, is the next best thing. Bjorn is hugely popular as he always finishes off participants workshop participants trees.

Also the Nursery Tour is Sold Out as well with two full buses loads booked in. A waiting list has also started in case of any cancellations.

Hope to see you all there.

David

Hi All
As with every Convention, the exhibition and vendor sales area will be open to the public.
All trees in the exhibition will be hand picked from across Victoria.
If your not able to make the Convention, then you might want to visit the exhibition.

And the tree on the brochure will definitely be in the exhibition. You have to see this in person to fully take in its awesomeness!!!

Hi All
Just a reminder that registration to the AABC 2018 Convention close on 1 July 2018. Don't miss out on seeing Bjorn in action with demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday (working on great material) and then observing him in workshops from Monday to Thursday.

Thanks
David

Just a reminder to all that registration to the AABC 2018 Convention is now closed.

For those of you that missed out, not all is lost. The exhibition and sales tables will still be open to the public on 21-22 of July. It's the perfect opportunity to see high quality bonsai in the beautifully ramified winter skins.

Held at Mantra Bell City, 215 Bell Street, Preston.

For all others that have registered for the convention, I look forward to seeing you there!Image
