Bonsai show, mid north coast

Always a great show, the Wauchope club is holding its annual show on the 3rd weekend of September. The doors open at 10am on both days ( Sat and Sun 16-17), with the sales table being the first stop. Last year, the show room was virtually empty for the first half hour. The venue is Laurieton United Services Club (LUSC)

Good to see a flower on the Banksia. 1 or 3 flowers on a tree this size does not look out of place. :yes:

The trick with the flowers is to snap them short early. Makes for a flower more in scale with the tree.
