SATSUKI AZALEA BONSAI EXHIBITION

Times: 10 am – 4 pm - Saturday and Sunday

Morning and Afternoon Demonstrations on both days by Arthur Robinson, one of Australia's best known Satsuki Azalea Experts,
Satsuki is the name given to a unique group of azaleas. Normal garden azaleas flower in late winter to early spring (July to September). Satsuki flower in mid-spring to early summer (October to
January).
Satsuki have been cultivated in Japan for centuries and are still relatively new to Australia. They are very hardy, which is one of the attributes making them excellent bonsai for beginners to advanced
enthusiasts.
Satsuki flower profusely with a spectacular range of flowers. A single tree can not only have flowers of different colours but also flowers of different shapes.

This coming Saturday & Sunday from 10:00am - 4:00pm with the added BONUS of experiencing the Master himself - Arthur Robinson, demonstrating on both days morning and afternoon

I just happened to be in Melbourne when this was on last year. well worth the time to get out there. Some really advanced azaleas on display and flowers of all colours and shapes I even bought a few small starters from Trev to get into this branch of bonsai.
