Re: Redlands Bonsai Society Annual Show
Thanks to everyone who was able to come along, and thanks for viewing, those who couldn't make it.
I used my phone for these shots, and the white balance is all over the place, since my phone couldn't deal with it!

Re: Redlands Bonsai Society Annual Show
Thanks for posting the phots MelB - how good is it that we can use technology to share shows like this when the tyranny of distance gets in the way of visiting.
Lovely stuff.... I can see why the People's choice was popular. I was also taken with a few Junipers and a couple of Claret Tops too.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Mark

Awesome job posting these Mel... many thanks.
It’s a lot of work getting that many pics up and loaded in a thread, I appreciate the effort. Loving a lot of the natives you posted, particularly the Mels... very inspirational.

Re: Redlands Bonsai Society Annual Show
Thanks everyone, Tony, Kirky, Anthony, Jan, Mark and Ryceman. Committee and members worked hard, that's for sure! I tried to make sure the identity of each tree was shown in the shot, cos there's nothing worse than seeing a tree and not knowing what it is, lol.
I couldn't do this sort of uploading on my phone, I'd be sure to mess it up, so I use my desktop and do a preview before posting. Sure, it's taken a couple of hours to edit, crop and resize the shots, but hey, it's good to share what's happening up here in the sub-tropics!
Did anyone notice there is only one JBP?
