Keep the 6th & 7th April 2019 clear to come along to NBS Annual Show. To be held at the Glenbrook Theatre Hall.

Wow! Check out the tree in that brochure - strikingly different. I won’t be able to get to NSW to see the tree - may I ask what it is? Do you have a higher res photo to view? Thanks in advance.

Hi MJL. I do not believe that is a club tree. Most likely taken from an online gallery. If it turns out that it is someone’s tree I will definitely get the details. Jim

Hi ... is there a schedule for the demo's (who's doing it, what they are covering & when it's on)?

Trying to work out timing for a visit

Hi MikeK,
Demonstrations will be of a general and ongoing nature. Demos of how to wire, style and repot.
Basically designed to spark interest from the general public.
There will not be any formal demos by the big names it’s more about the themed displays.
Hope to see you there.
Jim

Yes, there will be a sales table and going by last year’s quality there will be quite a lot of trees in various stages at reasonable prices.

I might be completely wrong but I think Elaine Brown from Bonsai Island in Philip Island might be there. I was at the Warragul Bonsai Group recently and Elaine has some wonderful pots from Europe - I think Elaine mentioned she would be at this show. Apologies in advance if I am wrong.

Good luck with your show today! Daft me (again), I was going to come with my step-father thinking the Nepean Bonsai Show was held by a Bonsai group in Victoria - hmmm appears that Glenbrook is NSW I probably won’t make the drive and I was obviously confused about Elaine attending too I imagine. Anyway ... have a great show today at the Glenbrook Community Hall in NSW!
