Re: BNW Exhibition and Sale, 29-30 April 2023
looking forward to attending again this year.
Shibui Bonsai will be supplying stock for the sales tables but also eager to check the trees in the Exhibition. BNW show has some magnificent bonsai on the tables so well worth a trip and some time.
If there's any Melbourne growers who want something from Shibui Bonsai please let me know well before that weekend. I'm happy to bring orders down with no delivery charge if we can negotiate a mutually suitable place to meet.

Thanks Shibui.
And for anyone that wasn't there last year, here is just a couple of the trees BNW members had on display in 2022. Can't wait to see what trees are entered by our members in 2023.
Looking forward to the quality of trees in both the exhibition and sales area this year.
Cheers,
Pearcy

Agree that it's a very nice white pine. So much for white pine doesn't grow in Australia.
I can see 3 trident root over rock in the photos, all nice. Which one are you referring to?

Just throwing this out there - would any forum members like to say hello in person?
I plan to attend early on Saturday (pretty much at opening time), would love to put some faces to usernames if anyone is keen. No pressure if not.

Would you mind sharing their sale list when you get it? I'd be interested to see what's on it.TimS wrote: ↑April 11th, 2023, 10:12 am

No worries, can do but I'm not expecting anything bonsai suitable from it, but just keeping an eye for something I know is growing in the botanic garden I'd like to have in my garden is allSuperBonSaiyan wrote: ↑April 11th, 2023, 12:15 pmWould you mind sharing their sale list when you get it? That was last year Kirky. I'll ask the owner next time I see him if I remember.KIRKY wrote:Many thanks for pics Pearcy appreciate you taking the time to share them.

Even better, you should head down to this year's show to ask him yourself on 29-30th April 2023, just over the bridge in Footscray. I'll bring you some Ilex berries if you like
