Re: Bonsai by the Harbour
I highly recommend BONSAI BY THE HARBOUR. Cost includes a lovely lunch plus morning and afternoon tea. It is very reasonable. You can sit and watch or you can walk and wander, you can put full attention to a demonstrator or catch up with bonsai mates. There's not a real retail presence but in the past there have been one or two selling things like pots and handmade stands. Ric's not kidding when he says the venue is not only lovely but beautiful as well... when you tire of bonsai [is this possible?] then lean on the deck railing and absorb the watery surrounds and the bushland scenery. A rewarding and relaxing weekend, either Saturday/Sunday or, best of all, BOTH.
