Bonsai magazine?

Post by JPG »

Are there any good bonsai magazines out there relevant to Australia? Christmas is coming up and I was thinking of asking Father Christmas for a magazine subscription. Can anyone recommend a good one?

Bonsai Focus, International Bonsai, both are good magazines, obviously not Australian that one was under subscribed and folded.

Also so much mis-information!

I'm a magazine guy and like the old Bonsai Today and Bonsai Focus mags. Probably partly because I sit behind a computer 8 hrs a day for work and its nice to actually pic up a glossy mag on the couch and take rest from the computer screen! But also because the information is provided by respected bonsai artists and you can generally see the results - I don't need to wade through pages of conflicting info and egotistical arguments on the net and then have to verify if the guy posting the info has some credibility or is just some over enthusiastic kid who's been into bonsai for 5min and thinks he knows everything! :palm:
