Book-The Art of Bonsai by Professor Amy Liang.
Just wondering if anyone else on here owns this book. I'm thinking this first edition with dust jacket might be quite hard to come by these days after searching google. It really is a brilliant book and her trees are stunning. The murraya on the cover is 90cm, a bit of inspiration to get out there and start digging if the possibility is there. There's a photo in the book of her standing next to it and it is magnificent. Just got 2 stumps yesterday from a construction site which I will post in a new thread.

I've got the book, was one of my first bonsai books, yes very good and have learned a lot from it.
Beautiful images and good horticultural/ growing advice, even it is for Taiwan climate.
Cheers

I have a signed copy of this book, but have not found it particularly helpful. Although it is a nice book.

There are definitely parts of the book that can be utilised, some very useful info in my opinion. As Rolfster said however, it is more for a taiwanese climate. The full sized photographs and her trees though are superb. Was just wondering if many members on here owned the book and they regarded the quality of the trees in the book as highly as i do.

I remember buying that book way back in the early 90's.
