Begin Japanology - Bonsai

I stumbled across this while researching and it was really great to see the history of Bonsai in Japan.

I can’t believe 1000 year old bonsai exists
And like third shogun, how cool is that, yeah I tend a Japanese emperor from the 1700’s bonsai, What of it ?
Can’t say I’m a fan of ultra miniature baby bonsai though, shohin is a good small size
