Gardening Australia - Bonsai segment
Hi all,
Just thought I'd let you all know that there will be a segment on bonsai on Gardening Australia next Saturday at 6:30pm-7:00pm. Not sure whether it is a repeat or not but I'll definately be watching to see what they have got on offer!

Thanks for the heads up on that bonscythe. I would think it is new material and hopefully with Lindsay. These segments are usually geared toward the novice but are still interesting.

Re: Gardening Australia - Bonsai segment
Yeah he mentioned something about 'get you started'..
Does anyone know if there are regular bonsai tv shows in Japan or an area of equivalent interest in bonsai?
I know there are web-based programs but are there any that have been/still are aired to the general public?

Re: Gardening Australia - Bonsai segment
Speaking for the UK, there are no TV bonsai programmes at all. A passing reference was made to bonsai after the RHS show but that's all. I have noticed that some bonsai material is finding its way onto the furniture behind some programmes. Unfortunately 'outside' trees in 'indoor' locations. Can this be the forerunner of some air time I wonder?
My name is Don. I'm a UK nutter and bonsaiholic but I'm on medication (when I can find the tablets)

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
