Short critique videos from Redlands Bonsai Society
Carole Waller judged the Exhibition trees in 2016, and there are around a dozen videos critiquing some of the trees. (Many of them are Aussie Natives.)

Cheers KCAR, it surely is, and looks even better today! I'll see if I can get a more recent shot of it..
It is interesting to hear what judges look for, isn't it Anthony!
I really appreciate the effort Carole went to for this judging.

Yes, thanks for sharing MelB, the native raft is beautiful in its simplicity and it conveys a landscape wonderfully well. As Carol indicates - good trees, groups, landscapes transport you to another place. Very cool.

Thanks Mel, some stunning trees there. Very interesting critic and good hints on how to better display trees by tilting and changing angles.

Great saying this! Only in our lingo could this be viewed a wonderful compliment - which it is! Imagination the difficultly in translating some of our sayings. [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]melbrackstone wrote:Hey there KIRKY, Carole is the ducks guts, imho.
