Hi everyone,
Just wanted to show a few rocks I found while at fishing that I can use for bonsai.
Usually if the fish are not biting I try walk around the area to find any unique trees or rocks that I can use.
Flat stone I will use for a small group planting, just need to drill some drainage holes. Others can be used for root over rock style.
This one I can actually use as a Shohin pot, had a indent which can place a tree inside, maybe need to used abit if muck to make a wall.
Always happy to go home with bonsai materials if I catch no fish.. Heheh

Hey Yamadorikid, nice finds, I do the same, love a creek walk to kill some time.
Interesting point as I see your "school of bonsai", I have formed two "backyard" groups now and we have called ourselves "backyard bonsai" maybe we should start a movement.
