Re: Rock of all rocks
Hi Jason , thanks mate . I wasn't expecting Karen home early today and she clapped her peepers on it and would like something like this here . I was hoping to have it tucked up in the shed out of sight , I'm lucky i don't have a huge pot to fit it in or she would confiscate it .
Cheers Alpine

Re: Rock of all rocks
Hi BonsaiLov , Thanks for the positive feedback , it's all packed ready for transportation to Melbourne .
Cheers . Alpineart
This is far better than a pallet and will make loading and unloading a breeze .It will lay down and the tyres will take the shock out of the ride . Cheers . Alpineart

Re: Rock of all rocks
Fantastic work alpine! Great to see the progression
Now that's one BIG pot (it makes your rock/mountain look small which is no mean feet) Is someone missing their bath?
Hopefully they can provide you (and in turn us) with some photos once established

Was thinking the same thing, that's one hell of a pot! But the rock does look very good in it, fantastic job.cre8ivbonsai wrote:Now that's one BIG pot (it makes your rock/mountain look small which is no mean feet) Is someone missing their bath?
Can't wait to see it finished.
Cheers

Re: Rock of all rocks
That pot is insane! As the guys have said above, it really dwarfs the rock.... which looked HUGE before I saw it next to the pot
That will turn out a treat! Love your work Alpine

Re: Rock of all rocks
Hi peterb, as far as I know it hasn't been landscaped yet , Chris has had a full renovation and re-build on his house which has taken up all his spare time . Last time i heard the shimps' were in training , I'll put a rocket under him for an update .

Re: Rock of all rocks
This has sat idle since it was delivered , those little shimps were just 100mm cuttings now around 400mm and still not landscaped
Cheers . Alpine
The rock itself has weathered well and should be planted out very soon , so I'm told .Cheers . Alpine
