New pot from Boris

So..just wondering Ken you know when we get to see the pot with a TREE in it, just take your time

Unfortunately it took him sol long to Fire these ones he does not want to sell ( I think at least from the comments made )
I have a maple I think would look really nice in it.

I did not actually ask Tho I do have a Buxus in one that I did get off him

I pay to use a ceramics studio for 3.5 hours every week. I have to drive to the studio four times to get a finished pot. Wood-fired pots cost me even more. A few pots people bought from me so far were sold at a loss .

Thanks for the comment. You are right, the fourth one is special because it has no glaze and what you see is a natural deposit of ash (green) and carbon inclusions (black). Completely unpredictable and unrepeatable. For me though, the first one is the most unique because apart from its glaze it has a deposit of blue ash. Usually, natural ash is white or green while the blue one is rare. Also, it's got glaze crystals on the rim, which is uncommon. Here are better pictures of this pot.

This Rosemary is in a pot that Boris fired for me three or four years ago. The glaze is all fly ash and it's been one of my favorite pots.

I have had a buxus in one that mange to prize from Boris quite a few years ago.
Unfortunatley it fell fromt he bench and broke

I will have to see if i can coax him out of another one day but i do not like my chances

Yes, wonderfully different pots. I like that they are unique and it would seem difficult to come upon.

I like all of them with 1, 4, 6 and 7 taking my eye.

Good stuff Boris and well done to those that have one and have then kept them in one piece!
