Got myself a new beauty.
This little guy has found himself a new home at my place today. He's by a Thai potter named R. Tong. Just thought I'd share him around, hope you enjoy

There are many ways to do things, but only one "best" way.

You certainly did get yourself a beauty. A very nice pot. What are you thinking of putting into it?

Re: Got myself a new beauty.
Hi guys, and glad you all love it as much as I. I suppose I could keep it a secret Ken, but I figure the whole point of this forum is to share He's based in Thailand with a shop call 'Coffee Morning'. The pot itself was a little on the expensive side once the post man added his touch, but by then it was all too late for me. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it no matter the cost.
When it arrived I was pleased to see the amount of packaging that had gone into it, I could have safely drop punted it 100 metre's and it still would have opened up without a scratch. The pot itself is twice fired to a total of 16 hours to stoneware temperatures (1250C/2282F) making is heat and frost hardy. It even arriver with a couple of gifts, one was another hand made pot (but only big enough to hold a little bigger than a golf ball) as well as a little handmade stoneware figurine.
At the moment I think it can only be purchased through a site called Etsy (sort of like an eBay for small businesses) but I'll email the artist and see if I can find you guys a more direct line.
Glad you all enjoyed! Here's a link for it;
https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/Coffeemorn ... ss_profile
Now to decide what to put in it! I'll chuck a photo up when I sort it out.
Cheers,
Pearcy.
