A few new pots!
Hey all, just thought I would share a few pots that I have recently purchased as it seems I have caught the pot bug as well. My wallet thanks me.
Anyway the first two are from the UK's Erin pottery and the second two are from Sweden's Thor Holvila. Both are potters I am really admiring and both were a pleasure to deal with shipping the pots very safely to me in Spain.
Pretty sure that this is going to end up in being a whole new obsession.
And here is a group pic for size reference.

Re: A few new pots!
Fabulous pots, Starfox!
I particularly like the glaze on the second Erin, but they are all very fine.
I have long known that Bonsai is a gateway drug leading inevitably to pot....
I look forward to seeing them full of trees!

Nice pots Starfox!
Can you show the first Holvila pot from the corner? I want to see the skull feet
Cheers,
Pearcy.

I do really like that one too, up close the texture of it is really cool.
It may be a season or so before I can get a tree into one of them but it is worth doing it right. I think having nicer pots helps with the motivation to have nicer trees too.
Although I may keep the small skull as a display pot or possibly and accent.
Cheers!Pearcy001 wrote:Nice pots Starfox!

Re: A few new pots!
... And just to add to the mix on these pots, from your photos I'd throw my money at the first Erin pot you posted! Like the shape, like the glaze, like the other ones too if I'm honest but that one particularly. Thanks for the photos.

Re: A few new pots!
Cheers Ric, unfortunately I had a set back with some fertiliser so a couple of trees I had earmarked for a couple of the pots are currently fighting for their survival.
Rookie error.
Still hasn't stopped me getting a few more pots.
These are all Thor pots again.

Re: A few new pots!
Some fantastic pots, Starfox!! I'm really appreciating the 2nd Erin pot, the colours are fantastic.
You mentioned they've delivered to you in Spain, do they have World-Wide shipping or only to Europe?

Re: A few new pots!
I have acquired a few more pots since I last posted....
A little Tosui
This was sold as a Tosui but I have been told it is a Seto slip cast.
And my personal favourite a Satomi Terahata.
