Large plant stand
Well it's on like Donky Kong in Wal's back yard today i am at it again building a big multi tier stand
It's made out of treated structural pine, and galvanized screws
Almost got the sides finished
1.7m high 1.5m wide 1m deep
Even threw a sicky to get it done... now thats dedication
All those broken computers will still be there tomorrow
More pics to come as i progress
Regards
Wal

Re: Large plant stand
i would say you need some cross bracing Wal and you will probably get sagging of your shelves IMO

Re: Large plant stand
Yer im going to attach bits of structural pine (off cuts) under the boards every 50cm to stop sag... also once they are screwed down they should act as bracing plus that will also help sagno idea wrote:i would say you need some cross bracing Wal and you will probably get sagging of your shelves IMO
I will be done soon enough so we can see
Hmmm

Re: Large plant stand
Hi Wal....nah i mean cross bracing your structure (frame)....it will end up wonky....your going to have a bit of weight sitting on the shelves i'm only a scaffolder maybe a carpenter can steer you in the right direction
