Wow, amazing setup! :tu:
will you have auto watering system or prefer watering manually?

Thank you. I have 2 auto water system to water my bonsai just incase 1 fails. I still water manually. I just turned on the auto in summer when it gets really hot and when I do evening shift.

Last weekend photo during the rainy days. Five of the trees in the middle are from Shibui.

 I have just happened upon this thread and echo all the other positive comments. Great that you and your partner worked on this together. An excellent set up and some trees that I could only wish for. I do like your garden beds too. You seem to have some lovely maples; are they in direct sun all day? Cheers, MJL

Nice setup for sure. Seems you got lack of rain in September judging by the lawn. Simular boat atm , had to start heavily watering about 2 weeks ago. Usually I don't have to irrigate anything until late October! hoping for anything at the moment.

Thanks MJL. Yes they are in direct sun all day. If temperature hits 40deg, then I start moving them to shaded areas. I've got sprayers on when it starts to warm up.

Thanks MAtthew. Yeah, no rain at all. My lawn just started to go green this week and it had its first mow.

I know, they are everywhere. I do spraying every fortnight now. Best comment i've got about those weeds:

"They're not weeds...they're boats in a gravel sea. I've got the entire 7th fleet at my place. lol"
