Hi All,

I purchased this olive from the Vietnamese Bonsai Exhibition held in Melbourne this past weekend.

I believe the owner was a gentleman named Phong. Phong appeared to be the Master of Ceremonies at this event and very busy at the time; welcoming dignitaries and making speeches. In short, I did not want to interrupt Phong’s work on the day - hence I could not ask him about this pot.

But I do not seem to be able to find the mark. No drama - it’s not critical - I am just interested in understanding the provenance of the pot.
I have tried to take a close up photo below. Another view of the mark and where it appears on the pot below. Cheers in advance for any guidance.

I had a quick scout through my usual resource for Japanese and Chinese chops but i couldn't match it up to anything for you sorry. Hopefully someone with a bit more experience is familiar with this chop for you!

Thanks Tim - appreciate the look. Given where it was purchased - it could well be Vietnamese? Anyway - any guidance will be appreciated.

Just checking these chops again... I rubbed the chops with led pencil today and I took a couple of new photos today to expose the chops a little more; I cannot see the chops on any of the known reference websites ... so just checking again if anyone knows the provenance of this pot. Two photos - same chops, different angles. ...and it is interesting to see that the tree has progressed somewhat too.... but in a different pot.
