Sparkle Sparkle

Post by Jester »

Hi there crazy kids!!!

I have a few glazed pots as a result of buying bonsai from market fairs and so forth where the pots and their glaze have gone a little manky (ie) You know how after a few years sometimes the glaze can go a little foggy or say, milky???? Anyway , does anyone have a favourite secret formula / magic liquid that they use to bring up the lustre of the glaze???

Regards

John

Hi Jester, some would consider the patina of an old pot is highly valued.

the dullness can make the pot look older so can be useful.
I just give thenm a rub with a wet plastic scourer pad to clean them.

Camellia oil is meant to be good, baby oil is easier to find
