My accent plants

Post by kcpoole »

After seeing a few nice display this year, I have been looking for some interesting plants to use as accents
During the Bonsai Summit weekend in July, I raided Penny's Mini pot baskets and grabbed a variety of different pots ofor both Mame and accent plants.
A few weeks ago we had some warm weather, and as the Schools show is coming up, I need a variety to use, so decided to get potting

I have several small plants weeds scattered around so here is a few. I will need to get some more pics of the rest as it got too dark this arvo :-(

Hey Ken,

I would of never thought of using Mondo grass, good idea mate, id actually like to use the pure black mondo if i can find any for sale.

Wonderful example of Accent plants mate, Thanks for sharing.

To be honest i spend more time looking after my moss and accents then my actual tree

Cheers Drew

a Little Bougie from cutting that is just too cute not to show
I will keep this small and hopefully make a nice accent thru summer for a larger tree :-)
I also have some cuttings of my white Bougie one which I will also keep as a small one
