Hi,
I spent March in Japan a few years back and here are some pics of various gardens, buildings and scenes in Japan.
Firstly, this was not a Bonsai mission. I regret not having the Bonsai bug back then, so only three pics snapped of someones trees in their front yard. Security is nothing there. Trust is everything and everyone is trusted, so gardens are kept in perfect condition and people are not concerned about stealing.
So while the pics of the Bonsais are not exceptional, it's just a few I snapped while walking past.
Bonsais in Garden:
The following are various gardens, paths, etc, that I think are interesting and show some aspects of Japanese garden and outdoors.
Oh and did I mention they like bikes?
Such a wonderful country!

Those rock walls with moss growing over them are great. Beautiful places Brendan.

Alas I have the same regret. Two months after coming back from a couple of months in Japan and I got into bonsai... how depressing.I regret not having the Bonsai bug back then, so only three pics snapped of someones trees in their front yard.
I really do wish they'd hurry up and grow.
