Re: Japan Teaser......
Hi all,
I just got back from Japan again and should have a few pics to share tomorrow some time. It was a fairly hectic trip, but i still found time to get to Gafu ten and a bunch of nurseries. Hopefully have some pics tomorrow.

Re: Japan Teaser......
Hi all,
I didn't get as much time as i thought i might to process my photos today so i have just quickly done one to wet your appetites.
Gafu-ten sales area.
I only brought a couple of pots back as it was not a bonsai trip so i already had full luggage.
Hopefully get around to doing a few more pics tomorrow.

Re: Japan Teaser......
THanks for the congratulations Neil. We had a great time and i managed to set an early precident for bonsai holidays.
I just uploaded a few things from the Gafu-ten exhibition at my two blogs.
http://bonsaijapan.wordpress.com/
http://nichigobonsai.wordpress.com/
Most of the other pictures will have to wait until after kokufu-ten as there are a few trees that will most likely be exhibited there and i think its a little rude showing them on the net before they are exhibited.
Until then,
Enjoy.
Joe.

Nice to have you back Jow. This is the first time i have really looked at this thread in depth and it was fascinating to read of your experiences in Japan. Congrats on your marriage and if you ever want to holiday in the Central Highlands area give me a call and i am sure we can come to a satisfactory arrangement and talk about all things Bonsai.

Thanks for the offer Bodhiharma,
I have been meaning to come out to your place for some time now. I often stay with a friend in daylesford so you place would not be to large a detour.
If you liked this thread you may also like THIS thread. It is also from a prior trip i did to Japan.
Anyway, i should get back to work,
Thanks again.
Joe.
