Re: Auburn Japanese Gardens, Sydney
Unfortunately the Bonsai display at Auburn is no longer.
all the trees are / were owned by " The School of Bonsai" and the display was maintanied by the school too.
Due to several thefts, and a lack of interest in doing anything constructive by Auburn Council, the school had to remove the trees permanently. They are currently in the care of the school members, and hoping one day to be able to redisplay them somewhere secure.
Any rich members want to fund a site to locate them in Safety? The School would LOVE to have them on display
See this note on the School website

Re: Auburn Japanese Gardens, Sydney
Hi Guys,
I know it's a long way up the highway, but surely somewhere like The Japanese Gardens at Gosford would make a great site.
From what I hear Gosford Council are receptive to ideas.?????????????
cheers
Dave

Re: Auburn Bonsai Gardens, Sydney
I was just clearing up some photo files and found these to add to this topic. Does anyone else have any pictures of the old Auburn Bonsai Collection to share with us?

Steven
