I know most love the trees in Japan that are pines and Junipers. But ohh my do I love the deciduous trees you are showing, the pinacle of inspiration for me.

Thanks greatly for taking the time to photograph and share these Steve :tu: I can only imagine how good they look to you in real life.

How you're lapping up the trip like I expect. Make the most of it and network for the next one ;)

...ditto, all I managed was a sneaky one through the glass whilst we were lining up to go in. I did see some people snapping pics in there though, not sure if they got special permission or were just ignoring the rules?

We had permission to take pictures... so I took about 400! Then another 500 or so at the market :shock:

Today we are in Takamatsu for some bonsai, gardens and udon.

Thanks Steven. So many wonderful things it's hard to choose but for now just bring home the 2 trunk white apricot and the exposed root kumquat for me thanks.
