Nerima Garden QLD

Post by kvan64 »

This is a Japanese garden near Ipswhich - 35 km from Brisbane. I drow past it every day but seldom got to pay it a visit. Just took quite a few pics for it a couple days ago. Hope you like them

Thanks Craig. I just want to let people know that it's there. If anyone knows of any more puplic garden that's worth mentioning, please add here.

That would be good jamie. I will probably be visiting bundaberg in a couple week time. It would be great to visit it too.

it is a nice little garden, not huge but some nice water falls and interesting landscape trees. last time I was there, there wasnt any bonsai around unfortunately. maybe one day there will be. the hervey bay botanic gardens dont have a japanese garden either :( maybe I could go have a chat to the curators and possibly get one in :D

Spoke to a lady there a few weeks ago (she was something to do with the Orchid house and the staff there).
Didn't seem all that interested in Bonsai unfortunately.

By the way Jamie, where is the Japanese Gard in Bundy?

hi mate,

the japanese garden in bundy is at the bundaberg botanical gardens, they are located over the bridge on the left hand size, its a big green bridge, cant remember the exact bridge name or road though.
