Re: last of the lava rocks - biggest and best
This next one is and anomaly amongst these rocks, I have found only one in the two to three acres that this site covers.
It appears as a "blow hole" or vent where some liquid under pressure has sought it's way to the surface, whether it was water or lava itself we'll never be sure. Either way it's a cracker astoundingly they blow hole remains open, you may be able to tell its actually two holes that have merged, or one that has become two under pressure, some shots from the base showing visibility right through the rock into the two separate holes.
