can I put the taproot through this rock?

Post by arklan »

ok so question is can I feed the roots through this rock or will it ringbark when it grows fatter than the hole allows? it has like a vein/crevice thing running through it following the diagonal veins as u can see in the pic
I got this rock from work as we r a landscaping place and have all these weird rocks of all different shapes and sizes and this one grabbed my eye, it has a lot of character and lot of lines for the roots to run in

What kind of tree ? Eventually the root will probably split the rock in two.

see it has the little bowl for a bit of soil for the plant to start, I think the roots will go down the crevices pretty good :D
