Who is interested in a Literati Bunjin contest
I am sure we could scrounge up some prizes to make it a little more interesting. Maybe a commissioned pot from me

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Brett, you would absolutely need a category for Aus native. I can think of a few species whose form may suggest the style - casaurina, podocarpus, callitris, leptospermum, banksia (think of a tall nursery grown b. integrifolia as stock).

i dont think it would matter what species you used, although having a native catagory probly wouldnt be a bad idea!

Yep I am with Jamie as far as contest go here there is a lack of participation so I would be keen to keep the different categories to a minimum.

I'm interested, but I cannot necessarily guarantee that I'll end up a valid participant. Perhaps I should go vote now...jamie111 wrote:i would of thought we would of had more interest in it than whats happened so far...

Re: Who is interested in a Literati Bunjin contest
how could you not be a valid participant???? and my earlier post wasnt to guilt people into it (well maybe a little ) moreso to just give it a bump as such and get people to notice itFlyBri wrote:

Being a mod I guess he fears he will have to run it and that would disqualify him.
I would think as long as you where not expected to judge there is no reason you can't jion in Fly.
That is another issue we need a judge or two. Would be great if we could get an expert

Re: Who is interested in a Literati Bunjin contest
I'm on of course but would not expect my 'prize' to be sent by air this time. The freight costs are a bit heavy. I might even let it go to the second place winner.
Afterthought:- Is there any fee for the judge
