(NATURAL)Leptospermum polygalfolium subsp cismotonum. Boom64

Post by boom64 »

Purchased from Wirrin Wirra Nursery.
Cost Ten Dollars.
This is called vertical drop ,aiming for a weeping style .Hope to get enough vertical growth to get things happening .Height is stated at 15cm on the label so this could be tricky.

Woops I think I will get plenty of vertical growth ,more concerned about some upward growth in the trunk .

As usual, I am concentrating on the big issues.

John, your tape measure is the best on AusBonsai.

I like this tree ... I know its a completely different species but this particular plant has it's got a bit of that Acacia Howittii weeping look to it ...

Good potential I reckon.
Tending bonsai teaches me patience.

This one has been a real challenge. Growth has been steady. Wired the trunk to get a some height to work with. In my haste I wired several branches ,all seemed ok but several weeks later the branches died off. Will have to be a bit more cautious in the future. John.
