Pretty new to the bonsai scene after having re-located myself to Geelong and taking up the hobby recently so everyone's help is definitely hugely appreciated!
My entry for the competition
Trying to do a Moonah forest . Living near Geelong its pretty easy to take the inspiration from our coastline where these trees are growing in abundance
Details:
Species: Melaleuca lanceolata
Cost: $8.99 each I have 5.
Source: Local Nursery (Wombat Gully)
Update so far, transplanted into styro box in approx positions that I invision for the design.
A Huge goodluck to everyone who has entred and i cant wait to see what everyone produces.

April Update.
Had a decent amount of new growth from these, waiting for spring to decide on a future direction. But since pot up fertilised regularly, little bit of trimming
Can't wait for the Convention coming up hopefully pickup a nice pot for these.
