[NATURAL] Micromyrtus ciliata - Rory

Post by Rory »

Micromyrtus ciliata

I should have used more river sand in the mix when I started. These guys love full sun, hate shade and want a very open, fast-draining mix.
Hopefully this kicks on until Spring when I will add river sand to the mix. At the moment its a pain in the a$$, as its a matter of moving them every 2nd watering and then moving back. :palm:

As long as you have good levels of sun and excellent drainage, they can grow quite well. As Neil pointed out so succintly - they don't like to have wet feet. I can't wait to move house :palm:

Cost: $15
Plants plus Castle Hill

Sorry John, I looked at the roots, and this isn’t looking great.
They need more sun than I can offer at this point :shake:
