What an incredibly generous offer! Funny... I was just reading Ryan’s ‘The Pine Project’ thread and there are some beautiful photos there.... backed by his ongoing commitment to sharing knowledge - a Bonsai Life indeed. Have a crack Ryceman3 - ya never know ya luck!
Thanks Steven - I reiterate - a wonderful offer given this site is a free service.

So that's what the optometerist does while I sit alone in the dark room for the eye drops to take effect.

Re: Win a Masterclass with Kunio Kobayashi & Ryan Neil
Thanks Mark and Ken. I haven't picked up a camera in over a year, what with all the kerfuffle over two female relatives with alzheimers, so it was nice to just get out there and snap a few pics. I can't actually go to Canberra that weekend, so Steven don't count my pics in your comp please. You're welcome to use them though.

ooohhh ... nice shots Mel! Not sure I have the same kind of pedigree (or lens!) but here's a few shots I took this morning - just for MJL!
This competition is crazy generous, many thanks to Steven and those behind the scenes for a great opportunity for some lucky person! You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Cheers Gerard and Ryceman. Now if only I had some actual bonsai worth photographing!
I like what you've both done...did Steven say whether he wants Aussie natives? I'm going to get out this afternoon again and see if I can take some interesting shots of natives.

Well here's my submission,
I don't know about "the" bonsai lifestyle, but this is my bonsai lifestyle.
A work in progress by my wife, one of the childrens toys that have become perhaps the biggest feature of our house, and a tree, sharing the space
Cheers,
Kez

Re: Win a Masterclass with Kunio Kobayashi & Ryan Neil
Great photos everyone!
To clarify, there are no restrictions on species of tree and in fact you don't even need a bonsai to be featured!
Think outside of the box;
A shot of your repotting bench,
A stack of spare pots,
Rolls of wire hanging on hooks,
Your tools laid out on your work table,
Foliage sitting on the floor after pruning,
Dirt spilt on the floor of your car after transporting bonsai
Have some fun

Ooohh, yes please! I'll have to give this a go though the competition is a bit tough for my level of expertise.
There's my hat in the ring, got to be in it to win it.
