2011-melbourne-cup photo finish.jpg
What a race! I couldn't believe how tight the whole group was for the first half of the cup and then photo finishes for all places :o

This years winners are...

1st - Pup riding DUNADEN
2nd - Liam Taylor on RED CADEAUX
3rd - KCPoole jockying LUCAS CRANACH

... and because bonsai is an art of patience and not haste, a 4th badge will also go to BGM1971 who rode MODUN into last place.

Winners, please PM me your postal address and I'll get your badges into the mail post haste. Pup, I have yours so no need to send. Ken, seeing as you already have a badge, I'll find something else for you.

Thanks for taking part in the sweep folks. It was good fun.

Regards,
Steven

In place of a Badge, Steven presented me with a small bottle of Tri-Flow Lubricant.
He reckons it is good stuff to lube the tools, so will give all mine a clean up tomorrow :-)

Thanks Steven :-)

A $5 bet for a win on the second favourite DUNADEN finally got me a winner on the Melbourne cup. :hooray:
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
