Aaron I posted these on another forum so they are a bit small. There are two by Pat and and three by a local potter who has since Gone to Japan. I am not sure what happened there I must have hit something at the wrong time

This is my favourite Pat Kennedy Pot. I thought I would post it without a tree, as last time I posted it on some of the foreign forums I copped alot of flack for my choice of tree for the pot.

Lynette, Hi hows it going? I have another Question do you know if Pat makes semi cascade and Cascade pots? Living on the other side of the rabbit proof we are not exsposed to his pots. We do have some being brought in though. I just have to get in quick. Thank you in advance Pup

I remember that little discussion about Pat's pot posted by Ledanta on that other chat group. They usually dismiss anything posted by Aussies and praise each other over some of the most revolting pots I've ever seen (maybe the photos are taken at a bad angle). What do you reckon Pat?

Hey Pup.
Pat sent two boxes off yesterday. I don't know how long it will take to get to WA, but they're on the way.

Leigh ... a shame that you removed the Shimpaku from Pat Kennedy's pot. It has wonderful texture and in spite of the flack you received, I believe the pot and plant together had integrity. It really is an individual thing ...
Trevor Wheeler at Newstead in country Victoria (between Hepburn Springs and Bendigo) makes terrific pots. He really is extremely talented, a lovely man an extremely humble. He is with the Goldfields Club and the Bendigo Club. Worth contacting for anyone in that neck of the country.

Here's a few pics of my one and only Pat Kennedy pot. The tree in question is my longest surviving tree: a little River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) I have grown from tubestock.aaron_tas wrote:my favorite aussie bonsai potter is certainly Pat Kennedy.
